Joe accumulated several records in his extensive career. These include the school records for most career assists and steals. Joe also has the 4th most points in IBC history.

Joe was a defensive dynamo and the definition of a pure point guard, sharing the ball and creating shots for others before himself. Joe had great passing vision and skill, and was patient and effective when orchestrating the pick-and-roll. He was a good ball-handler with a nice repertoire of dribble moves. Excellent at creating transition opportunities. 

On defense, Joe used his excellent strength, speed and energy to hassle opposing players. Got steals by stripping the ball-handler as well as reading passes. Used superior strength and size to bully smaller guards.
